"As the Music Director for Lansing High School musicals, I regularly called on Bob to play in the pit orchestra. I can’t think of a time that he didn’t join us if there was a part for him! Not only did he do a superb job as a member of the pit, but he also mentored student musicians in the group, freely sharing his expertise with younger musicians. He fit in well, was meticulous in his playing, was always ready to go at the first downbeat, was courteous, professional and had a great sense of humor. He was a true low maintenance ensemble player!"
